Puppy thrown from a moving vehicle and hit by a car!!!
Another Sunday, another dog thrown from a car and run over with no one stopping to help, resulting in a severely injured puppy in the road.
For this puppy, she happened to have one sliver of luck left in her sad puppy life. As she was thrown from a car and then immediately hit by another vehicle, one of our team’s own mothers was driving and saw it all. She was able to get to her as she lay limp and injured, in a lot of pain from her broken leg and impact of a VEHICLE HITTING HER. She had no idea what was happening, no ability to even process being thrown out of a vehicle before she was hit. This poor puppy had no chance of safety and we are sick to our stomachs thinking about the fear and pain she’s endured.
Anna has been through a lot and still she perseveres and is an amazing puppy! Her leg is healing from 2 breaks and she is getting the medical and human attention she so deserves in her foster home.

Personality:
Anna is a lively and affectionate puppy who loves to chew on toys and bully sticks, play, explore, and learn new things. She’s incredibly smart and eager to please, making her a quick learner who will thrive with positive reinforcement training. Anna gets along well with other dogs and would do well in a home that can provide her with plenty of playtime and mental stimulation.
What Anna Needs:
- A loving home with a family who’s ready for the joy and fun of raising a puppy.
- Plenty of exercise and playtime to burn off her puppy energy ovethe vet gives her the green light.
- Ongoing training to help her grow into a well-mannered adult dog.
- A secure yard or safe space where she can explore and play.
Health:
Anna is recovering rom her broken leg, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and ready for spaying when she’s old enough. She’s a happy, healthy puppy who’s ready to grow and thrive with the right family.
