Sammy is a young, 2 year old male chocolate Labrador/terrier mix. He is a wonderful guy! He LOVES to play, loves toys and is learning how to be the best dog ever with his amazing foster family. The best thing about Sammy, he GIVES HUGS!!!! Yes, he will hug you!
He was a staff and volunteer favorite at the shelter in San Antonio, where he was on the list for euthanasia due to time and space, as he had been there for over a month.
Sammy is crate trained and listens well. He has adjusted to having boundaries and learning how to be a dog in a home setting and is flourishing. He has picked up basic training quickly, walks well on leash and is house trained.
Sammy is good with other dogs his size or bigger and loves to play. He LOVES water and being outside more than anything.
Sammy is about 48lbs, neutered, current on all vaccinations and ready to find his forever spot in the world.
