Are you looking for a dog to be your bff at home, be excited when you walk in the door, go on walks around the neighborhood, cuddle with on the couch and generally listen to you and tell you you are right all the time? Well then, Dan is YOUR GUY!

Dan is one of our AWESOME senior dogs. At age 8 years, he is a Vizsla mix who is vaccinated, neutered and READY TO FIND A HOME!

Dan was on his 11th hour at DAS when we pulled him and brought him into our rescue program. We could not take seeing yet another dog euthanized simply for their age and lack of space. He has been the most loving, gentle, grateful boy since he came into our care…it is like he KNOWS he was saved.

Dan is a staff & volunteer favorite. Dan only wants LOVE. He is so affectionate and so grateful for any attention, he is just the best and it breaks our hearts he has not found a home yet.

He is a leaner and will lean into you standing or sitting when you pet him. He is looking for a home with no other dogs, cats or kids under the age of 10.

Dan is available for meet & greets and adoption at our rescue center.
