Sweet senior girl Estella is looking for her forever home where she can know love and feel safe after being thrown away by her people due to her age.
Can you imagine being dumped at a shelter in your senior years? That is what happened to poor Estella and we can’t figure out why.
Estella is a sweet senior girl who deserves so much more than the hand she’s been dealt. At 12 years old, this beautiful black Labrador mix was abandoned at the shelter simply because she got old. Despite her difficult past, Estella’s spirit remains bright, and she still has so much love to give.
Estella is estimated to be around 12 years old. She is great with other dogs and is just looking for a calm, quiet hoe where she can be loved and spoiled like she deserves.
Besides being a little slow getting around, she is as sweet as can be. She still tries to play with the other dogs, puts her legs up on the bed each morning to say hello, and leans in for ALL THE PETS.
She is housebroken and dog door trained and really just a wonderful dog. While her foster didn’t know if she was stepping up for a hospice case, it is clear that Estella is looking for a more active forever home because she has more time left! She even likes short walks and car rides, chewing on bones and the occasional game of fetch.
She’s calm, gentle, and just wants a cozy home where she can spend her golden years surrounded by kindness. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will appreciate every bit of love, Estella is waiting for her forever family to give her the second chance she deserves.
