Meet Darlin!
Darlin is a beautiful 2-year-old mixed-breed, and we think she may be part Carolina Dog. She came to us from a small rural shelter in Texas, along with her puppies, ready to start a new chapter in life. Prior to that, she had been living in a hoarding situation with many other dogs and we are so glad animal control stepped in to help her.
She has been a GREAT mama dog and is now it is her time to find a home of her own.
True to her name, Darlin is as sweet as can be. She’s gentle, affectionate, and loves being around people. She can be shy at first, we don’t think she got a lot of socialization in her first home, but we are working on helping her learn the world is not such a scary place.
She is learning how to enjoy playtime, leisurely walks, and curling up for some well-deserved snuggles. She is crate trained and potty trained. Darlin gets along with other dogs and would be a wonderful companion in a variety of home settings.
She’s looking for a family who will give her the love and security she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, Darlin could be the perfect match for you!
